PMC 600E
Description
The PMC 600E plasma cutting torch works with the water injection plasma process. This design not only ensures easy handling, but also makes maintenance considerably easier. The workpiece to be processed is approx. 70 mm below the water surface. The torch can be switched between oxygen and nitrogen operation using a solenoid valve.
Particularly noteworthy are the high cutting speeds of this torch, which enable precise and distortion-free cutting even with thin sheets. The application range of the PMC 600 extends from 2 mm to 70 mm material thickness with up to 750 A using oxygen. In nitrogen mode, the torch has a maximum output of 250 A and the application range extends from 1 mm to 25 mm material thickness. It is started by a safe auxiliary arc ignition. The direct water cooling of the electrode and the indirect water cooling of the cutting nozzle ensure a long service life of the wear parts.
