Service/repair of your plasma welding torches

Is your plasma welding torch defective or are your welding results no longer satisfactory? Don't write off the defective torch immediately, a repair is worthwhile in most cases!

After a crash, a cooling failure or general problems in the welding process, the torch should definitely be checked for damage and proper functioning.

Send us the complete torch including all wearing parts and we will provide you with a free quotation for the repair.

If the repair of your plasma welding torch is no longer economical, we can offer you a complete new torch including hose package.

Plasma cleaning as a replacement for chemical degreasing

When spot welding in the automotive industry, the entire body must be cleaned to ensure a perfect weld. The CleanJET process completely replaces this costly and time-consuming operation. Using a plasma welding torch, all oil residues and other contaminants are precisely vaporised at the subsequent welding points. 

The CleanJET process is based on a Tucker welding head with an additional plasma torch. In the welding position, the Tucker CleanJET torch extends in preparation for plasma cleaning. After a maximum cleaning time of approximately 2 seconds, the surface is prepared and ready for welding. After cleaning, the torch automatically retracts while the head moves to the front position to complete a perfectly welded stud.
